Books
Think Tanks and Non-Traditional Security, Critical Studies of the Asia-Pacific, Palgrave Macmillan, 2015. ISBN: 9781137488244
This book examines how Asian security institutions have struggled to adapt to the so-called 'non-traditional' security characterizing the strategic landscape of the 21st century.
In the book, I argue that the resulting gaps in governance have increasingly been filled by think tanks which, in turn, have begun to change the way that Asian security is governed.
Edited Chapters
Critical Perspectives on Think Tanks Edward Elgar Publishing, 2021.
This book explores think tanks from the perspective of critical policy studies, showcasing how knowledge, power and politics intersect with the ways in which think tanks intervene in public policy.
I contributed the chapter "Think Tanks as Governance Entrepreneurs: Institutionalizing Human Rights Discourse in Asia."
